Marine Hydraulic Cylinder & Piston Repair, Overhaul and Spare Parts Supply
Hydraulic cylinders used in deck machinery, cranes, davit systems, hatch covers, and steering gear are directly exposed to harsh marine conditions such as seawater, high humidity, and heavy loads. Over time, rod scratches, corrosion, seal deterioration, and pressure losses can compromise the safety and reliability of the entire system.
Our field team provides end-to-end professional service, from the safe removal of hydraulic cylinders and pistons on board vessels to reconditioning, honing, chrome plating, and final pressure testing at our workshop.
Our Service Process & Technical Scope
1. On-Board Dismantling & Field Support
-
On-Site Vessel Intervention: Safe removal of hydraulic cylinders in confined and difficult-to-access areas such as deck cranes, davit systems, or steering gear rooms.
-
Blinding & Hydraulic Line Safety: Hydraulic lines are safely blanked during dismantling to prevent oil leakage and protect the piping system.
-
Mobile Diagnosis: On-site pressure measurements and initial condition assessment.
2. Workshop Overhaul & Reconditioning
-
Disassembly & Cleaning: Hydraulic cylinders delivered to our workshop in Çayırova/Kocaeli are completely dismantled using dedicated washing and disassembly equipment.
-
Piston Rod Reconditioning: Scratched, bent, or corroded rods are straightened, chrome-ground, re-chrome-plated, or manufactured as required.
-
Cylinder Tube Honing: Scratches and internal ovality in cylinder tubes are eliminated using precision honing equipment.
-
Seal Replacement: Seals, rod seals, O-rings, and bearing elements are replaced with materials resistant to seawater and high operating pressures.
-
Hydraulic Test Stand: Following the overhaul process, cylinders are subjected to static and dynamic leakage tests at operating pressures of 100–350 bar.
