Marine Hydraulic Valve, Manifold Block & Motor Repair

Hydraulic control valves and hydraulic motors that operate cranes, winches, deck cranes, and other deck machinery are at the heart of onboard operations. Hydraulic valves control pressure, flow, and direction, while hydraulic motors provide the rotary motion required for drums, wire rope sheaves, and other deck equipment.

A worn valve or underperforming hydraulic motor can lead to serious failures such as loss of torque and speed, inability to maintain pressure, overheating, and abnormal noise. Our team provides professional solutions ranging from onboard fault diagnosis to workshop overhaul and pressure adjustment.

Our Service Scope & Technical Solutions

1. On-Board Troubleshooting
  • Precise diagnosis of problems such as loss of speed and torque, system overheating, noisy operation, and pressure drops using calibrated pressure gauges and flow meters.

  • Detection of hydraulic line leaks and internal sealing failures.

2. Control Valves & Valve Systems
  • Disassembly, lapping, inspection, and seal replacement of directional control, pressure relief, flow control, and proportional valves.

  • Precision surface inspection of valve spools and valve seats.

3. Valve Blocks & Manifolds
  • Disassembly of complex hydraulic manifold blocks followed by ultrasonic cleaning and contamination removal using specialized solvents.

  • Detailed inspection of internal flow passages, check-valve seats, and O-ring grooves.

4. Hydraulic Motor Overhaul
  • Disassembly of piston, vane, and gear-type hydraulic motors, including inspection of bearings, seals, shafts, and distribution plates for wear.

  • Reconditioning of worn internal components or replacement with components manufactured to original specifications.

5. Pressure Adjustment & Test Bench Testing
  • Functional testing of repaired valves and hydraulic motors on our hydraulic test bench at nominal operating pressures.

  • Calibration of safety valves and pressure switches according to the vessel's hydraulic system parameters.

IMPA-Coded Valve, Motor & Component Supply

Worn or non-functional hydraulic valve and motor components are supplied from stock or through our fast procurement network in accordance with international IMPA (International Marine Purchasing Association) catalog standards.

Operational Tip: Oil Cleanliness & System Protection

Clean Hydraulic Oil Extends the Life of Valves and Motors!

A significant proportion of wear and component seizure in hydraulic valves and motors is caused by contaminated or moisture-laden hydraulic oil.

To prevent recurring damage after repair or overhaul, filter replacement and hydraulic oil sampling and analysis are critical. Following overhaul, our field service team also provides technical guidance on flushing the affected hydraulic lines and analyzing hydraulic oil condition to ensure reliable and long-lasting system operation.
